FACILITY
RCCCS operates out of a purpose-built child care facility located on SD46 property. Our centre includes indoor classroom and office space, a kitchen, a covered deck, and an outside playground suitable for 3-5 year-olds. We also make use of the adjacent forested area on the SD property that surrounds us, as well as the Roberts Creek Elementary School playground.
STAFF
At RCCCS, we take immense pride in our exceptional team of staff, who genuinely embody our philosophy and mission, consistently working to enhance the lives of all children enrolled in our programs. Each staff member undergoes a comprehensive government criminal record check and maintains valid, up-to-date first aid certification.
Our Operations Manager, who is regularly present on-site during most programming, possesses a strong background in early childhood education. All educators within the Rainbow Early Learning Collective are trained and certified as Early Childhood Educators (ECE) or Early Childhood Assistants (ECEA), ensuring compliance with the standards outlined in the BC Child Care Licensing Regulation.
The staff in our Treehouse After School Care programs are experienced and recognized as Responsible Adults (RA) in accordance with the BC Child Care Licensing Regulation. Occasionally, we may enlist junior staff members under the age of 19 for our Treehouse Camp programs; these individuals provide valuable support to our seasoned staff but are never left unsupervised with children. When necessary, we also engage substitutes, in line with licensing guidelines, to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained.
