RAINBOW EARLY LEARNING COLLECTIVE

Rainbow Early Learning Collective provides an engaging preschool educational program tailored for children aged 2.5 to 5 years. Our curriculum combines structure with flexibility, highlighting the importance of play as a key component of learning and emotional development, both within the classroom and in outdoor settings. To enroll, children must be three years old by December 31st of the enrollment year. We strive to create an enriching environment that nurtures both development and creativity in our young learners.

  • 2 days (Tuesday/Thursday), 9:00am-2:30pm
  • 3 days (Monday/Wednesday/Friday), 9:00am-2:30pm

The program is structured around a daily routine that features both teacher-led and child-directed activities. Each day typically starts with welcoming group circle, followed by an exploration of our forest area located behind the center. After a snack, children engage in free play and discovery inside. A brief circle time precedes lunch, after which they have more opportunities for independent outdoor play. This flexible routine fosters a sense of security and well-being for every child.

Each month, we introduce various seasonal themes that inspire our activity centers. These include a creative play area, art, blocks, a dramatic play space, a library and a water and light table for science and sensory play. Children participate in outdoor play, either in small or large groups. Through these diverse activities, children have the chance to develop new skills, embrace core values, and enjoy enriching experiences in a safe and healthy environment.

All children enrolled at Rainbow Early Learning Collective MUST BE TOILET TRAINED and working towards managing all aspects of toileting independently. We are not licensed to deal with diaper changing. Staff are, however, available to help as needed, and naturally, as mishaps and accidents do occur, the staff will handle these situations with sensitivity.
